Georgian Inlaid Oak Bureau Desk Writing Table
Antique Georgian C1800 inlaid oak bureau desk writing table.
This is a lovely bureau, that is full of age, charm and character.
No loose joints and the drawers slide freely (some marks inside as is to be expected).
Good shape and fantastic proportions.
Full of age and character....quite rustic and charming.
Overall maximum dimensions: 100cmW x 55cmD x 108cmH (76cmH writing surface).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested. Period handles (some repairs and replacements) and locks. There are some historic extinct woodworm holes, that we have treated for good measure. Very slight distortion to the fall front (adds to the charm).
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
