Gillows mahogany bergere arm chair circa 1815. The chair has an arched top cresting rail, down swept arms resting on sabre legs ending on angled brass square castors. The back rail is stamped RW which is the Gillows journey man’s initials, it retains its original horse hair squab and patina.Seat height 41cm including squab.
