Gold case, cylinder - Grant, London 1802


An impressive and excellent quality London cylinder watch, in fine condition, in a heavy 18 carat rose gold case.
MOVEMENT Good cylinder movement, fully signed and numbered (1877). Diamond endstone and blued screws. All in very fine original condition and running well.
DIAL White enamel dial, in fine condition with just one tiny chip on the edge at 12. Very nice matching gold hands (the hour hand has been widened to fit the arbor). This dial has been restored in the past, but done very well.
CASE 18ct gold. Hallmarks for London, 1802, maker IW. The gold is in very good condition and hinges and catches are fine. No repairs, very little wear and just one tiny dent on the band. The crystal is fine.
The weight of the case is 58.3 gms. excluding the movement but including the crystal.
