Good Quality Mahogany Partners Desk
A good Victorian mahogany pedestal partners desk, the top with thumb moulded edge and a replaced hand dyed hide writing surface with gold and blind tooling. One side with unusually 11 mahogany lined drawers (most have 9) turned pulls and brass inset escutcheons. The reverse side having 3 matching drawers with 2 panelled cupboards, each with an adjustable shelf interior. The ends and inside of each pedestal are thumb moulded and panelled and the whole stands on moulded plinth bases with hidden castors. In excellent condition with working brass locks and keys. Transports in 3 pieces. More photos available.
