A good quality early Victorian wellington chest constructed from beautifully figured rosewood, the rectangular shaped top above the cross banded frieze. The 7 graduated and oak lined drawers with dove tail joints and ebonised turned pulls..The side locking bar which locks all drawers is working and has 2 keys and the whole stands on an off set plinth base. Condition is very good with a wonderful patina and ready for use in the home or office. Dimensions: Height…60’’/ 152.5cm. Width…25. 75’’/ 65.5 cm. Depth…18.25'’/ 46.5 cm.
