A good quality Victorian Mahogany freestanding pedestal desk. The cross banded top having a replaced hand dyed green leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling. The front having two banks of 4 graduating drawers with a wider centre drawer all with applied mouldings, brass axe head drop handles and escutcheons. The whole raised on rounded corner plinths with hidden casters below. The back is polished to allow freestanding and the drawers are all mahogany lined with working brass locks & keys. Condition- very good with no damage. Dimensions:- Height…32’’/ 81.5cm. Width…56.25’’/ 143cm. Depth…25’’/ 64cm. Kneehole Height…26’’/ 66cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £75. ALL TRADE ENQUIRIES WELCOME.
