A Large and Impressive Mid 19th Century oil on canvas portrait of a gentleman.c.1850. Inscribed to the base 'Myles Birkett Foster(1788-1861) Founder of the firm 1829'. In the original timber and plaster gilt frame with glass cover(removed for the photo).Very good original condition. Measures 38" x 47" x 5"deep.
