A nice Antique, Victorian Gentleman's Large sized, English Silver Fusee Pocket Watch made by John Forrest of London.
The fancy silver case with full English Silver hallmarks for Chester 1896/97. The rear of the case with engraved decoration and a central cartouche surrounded by a gold garter belt.
The good English Lever Fusee movement has a nicely engraved balance cock and is complete with dust cover. The dust cover is signed "John Forrest, London" and the movement "Chronometer maker to the Admiralty".
The silver dial is in good condition with engine turned engraving and floral decoration to the centre. There is a nice pair of gold hands and the horus are in Gold Roman numerals. In excellent condition and working order. (key provided)
