Circa 1880. Impressive large Arts and Crafts Victorian oak writing desk. The figured oak desk top with a gilt-tooled green hide writing surface in front a shelf supported on spindles with burr oak panels and spindled gallery above. The arched knee hole flanked by three deep cock beaded drawers, unusually on original metal castors and with finely turned knobs. The sides and the back of the desk with vertical panels of nicely figured oak.
