Large French armchairs with new fabric
Lovely quality pair of large French c19th oak armchairs or fireside chairs.
Very decorative carved frames and they have been fully restored.
The frames are solid, comfortable and with new upholstery and finished with antiqued studs and a single pipe.
Great chairs for a living room, but they would also work as a pair of carved dining chairs, desk chairs, or just decorative hall chairs too.
They are a great size with generous proportions and certainly comfortable enough to sit in all evening.
Upholstered in a slightly woven linen type fabric, neutral tones due to their size, so they will fit in with other existing upholstery and styles.

44” or 112cm high
29 1/2” or 75cm wide
26” or 66cm deep
Seat dimensions:
19” or 48cm high
22 1/2” or 57cm wide at the arms
22” or 66cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
