Large oak pedestal desk. Early 20th C. Maple & Co
This is a good quality oak pedestal desk by the renown antique furniture company Maple & Co of London, Paris and Buenos Aires who manufactured quality furniture from the Victorian period onwards.
This piece would probably date to the early 20th Century.
It is in very good condition throughout, the handles are all original, and it has a brand new quality leather skiver - tan colour with gilt and blind tooling.
It is a good large size and, importantly, has very good knee room.
The back of the desk is panelled and polished also so it can stand in the centre of a room.
Dimensions: 60 inches by 32 inches by 30.5 inches high.
