For sale today we have this stunning pair of "Scrolling Seaweed" vases by George Tinworth for Doulton Lambeth. Of broad baluster form, the vases feature a very dramatic all over incised foliate design that is further enhanced by varying sized ornate rosettes and applied beadwork borders. Bluey green seaweed against a buff ground with creamy whorls, an interesting tubelined dripping glaze type effect to the collar.

The vases stand an impressive 13" tall x 6" across. GT monograms to each body, stamped Doulton Lambeth England mark to the base along with JH for Joan Honey as assistant. Date to circa 1900.
