Large 19th.c. portrait of a lady in oil on canvas by the Yorkshire artist G.D Tomlinson (1809-1884). Clearly signed and dated Huddersfield 1856 in the lower left of the picture. Sitter unknown but she is sensitively painted with beautiful period costume detail. Excellent condition, presented unframed on the original stretcher.
