An excellent Victorian partners pedestal desk in burr walnut and of generous proportions. Well constructed in solid walnut and with attractive burr walnut and straight grained walnut veneers. The rectangular top is inset with a hand dyed traditional leather hide with blind and gilt tooled decorations to the edges. The desk top , and all of the drawer fronts are in burr walnut. To the front there is an arrangement of 8 drawers (the bottom drawer to one pedestal being double depth), to the verso is a traditional arrangement of 9 drawers. All fitted with their original charming solid walnut bun handles. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home or office.
