Beautiful late Georgian oak mule chest, probably originating around the Wales Cheshire border c.1800. A large storage chest with a lift up lid plus three oak lined drawers in the base. Five raised and fielded panels with mahogany cross banding flanked on each side with reeded quarter columns and raised on shaped bracket feet. Some earlier restorations to the drawer fronts and period replacement handles. Otherwise excellent condition and particularly good colour and patina.
