Classic late Georgian oak writing bureau c.1810. Open the fall front to reveal a good sized desk surface and fitted interior of small oak lined drawers and pigeon holes with a wavy apron concealing a hidden drawer. Over two short and three long drawers of graduated depth. Brass button knobs and swan neck handles, raised on bracket feet front and rear. Solid oak top, sides, drawer fronts and sides. Some earlier repairs (most obvious around the lock) otherwise excellent condition and a good mellow colour.
