This is a long vintage Suzani Kilim runner. A Caucasian, woven hallway or entrance hall carpet, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.

Impressively long in size for the larger hallway at 74cm x 344cm (29.25" x 135.5")
Displays a desirable aged patina with minimal fading and in good order
Warm colours offer a distinctive palette against a dark brown ground
Six square medallions in alternating colours framed by a smaller diamond border
Enclosed by an ornate geometric border, the white weave providing an appealing contrast
Finished with short, loose bands of tassels at either end
