Fine quality Scottish Mahogany Library Bookcase. C 1880 in excellent condition. It has a super colour with an original finish and a mellow antique patina. The shelves are adjustable, have a book depth of 9 inches and have the original
green leather dust covers to the shelf fronts. All locks work well with key included.
The bookcase base has a lockable central stationary drawer, below which is a most useful base, enclosing 3 smoothly running drawers and shelves.As with most Scottish antique furniture of this period, the quality and finish is exceptional..
We have checked this bookcase in our workshop, lightly refurbished and wax polished it, so it is now ready to be placed in your home.
The dimensions are height 89.5 ins. depth 19 ins. width 51. 5 ins.This bookcase dismantles into 3 pieces and will be re assembled and put into position on delivery. Please note the handle to the large right hand base drawer is present
