Edwardian mahogany inlaid Tubular Chiming Longcase Clock the case having a swan neck pediment with central turned finial over arched bevelled glazed hood door flanked by fluted pillars finely inlaid with tendrils and flowers, and leaf decoration the matching trunk above finely inlaid base raised up on shaped plinth. The Brass face with silver-plated chapter ring, surrounded by pierced applications. Having two auxiliary dials for setting the striking chime/silent and tune Westminster or Whittington chimes. The movement with anchor escapement, striking mechanism with nine chiming tubes and three brass cased weights
This is probably the finest quality tubular chiming antique clock on the market at the minute
