Handsome early 20th.c. mahogany library or centre table in the manner of Robert and James Adam by the celebrated English cabinet makers G.T Rackstraw of Worcester c.1930. Broad mahogany veneered top with shaped ends and crossbanded edges over a fluted apron with a raised classical urn and acanthus leaf frieze to the centre of both long sides. Raised on eight tapering and fluted legs with flower head capitals and terminating in square block feet. Maker’s label to the underside. Good condition, solid and sturdy with an attractive pale colour. Simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
