Stylish early 20th.c. marble top and painted wrought iron console or hall table c.1930. 40″ x 17″ white marble top with a serpentine shaped and moulded edge. On an elaborate wrought iron base with a trellis apron over hearts and shapely scrolling legs. Mounted with acanthus leaves to the knees and feet of the front legs. Joined with curving side stretchers between the legs and to a large fleur de lis at the centre. Retaining the original green paintwork with gold and red painted elements, attractively worn through in places. Very good original condition.
