Circa 1860. Large mid-Victorian burr walnut freestanding partners desk in excellent condition. The burr walnut banded top with a gilt tooled green leather writing surface above three frieze drawers with swan brass neck handles, mahogany drawer linings (sign of quality) and brass locks, supported on banks of three conforming drawers with polished backs over enclosed pedestal bases. Quality desk with an attractive colour and patina.
