Mid 19th century German Faschinenmesser sidearm. Has a cast ribbed brass hilt with broad, single edged, straight blade. Hilt is stamped with registration marks and a Prussian Crown. Blade in unmarked and there are small areas o pitting. In solid condition overall. Note there is no scabbard with this item.

Approximately 61.5cm overall and blade 47.5cm.
