Miniature Pair of Antique Yew Wood Campaign Chests
A very small and very well made pair of antique yew wood military campaign side chests with leather tops. They were made in England, they date from around the 1950’s.
They are of superb quality and are a very useful size, perfect for use as slim bedside chests, or in a lounge setting. The backs are nicely finished, so they can be used as free standing items. The yew wood has lovely colour tones and grain patterns. They have high quality brass military handles, brass side handles, brass corner mounts and a brass rim around the inset leather tops.
We have had these re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age. There is just some very minor surface wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
Please check the sizes, because they are much smaller than they look in the images.
