Mint Antique Gold-Filled Open Face Pocket Watch
with Gold Filled Chain, Swiss 1940

A gold-filled open face pocket watch in mint condition, made in Switzerland in 1940. The pocket watch is complete with a gold-filled chain.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six.

MOVEMENT: The anchor lever movement is fully screwed and is signed: “17 jewels, adjusted, “Cudos” Swiss Made”. The movement is in excellent working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The watch has just been serviced by my watchmaker so therefore in excellent condition!

CASE: The watch lies in a gold-filled open face ALD case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is signed: “SUN, Trade Mark, ALD Dennison Watch Case Co” and numbered: 348488. The inner side of the cuvette is signed: “English Make, Guaranteed to be made of Two Plates of 14 Ct Gold with Plate of Composition Between and to wear 25 years” and numbered: 348488.
