Sheila Tolley 1939 Born in Birmingham Tolley now paints in the West Country of England. Sheila Tolley has been a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours since 1978. She became a full member of the Royal West of England Academy in 1992. She was included in the Seven Academicians Exhibition in 1996. She is a professional artist with wide ranging skills in all forms of art media. The images she depicts in her work represent simplification formed from a sheer inner excitement of observing and experiencing the colour,texture, balance and harmony found in all things. This beautiful oil on board is an abstract depiction of a place Near Lelant, Cornwall. It's monogrammed and bears the artists label to the back. Well framed and ready to hang.
