Beautiful late 18th.c. Conwy Valley oak Welsh dresser c.1790. A good rack with original boards and shaped oak sides on large, well shaped ‘shoes’, above an excellent base featuring three drawers above cupboards and a central back of working drawers. The cupboard doors feature ‘slap on’ panels of the same shape as those found on Llanrwst antique clocks of the period. The oak panelled sides and quarter columns to front the corners of the base are good period features. In great condition and of a superb mellow, honey coloured timber, original handles. Good small size, just 19″ deep.
