Oil Portrait Painting Of Nude Filipino Lady
A large scale oil on canvas depicting a seductive nude study of a young lady posing in her see through silk gown.
The painting is executed in generously applied oils and is of excellent quality with a good covering of paint showing direction and skill in the applied brush strokes.
The painting is nicely presented in the original period giltwood and gesso decorative frame.
and bears a signature in the lower bottom right corner which reads ‘ J.Luna
The exact date of this picture is uncertain,but in our opinion it is around 1930 or slightly later
from the style.
The lady in this painting looks a liitle shy in her appearance with the background colours reflecting a bluish tinge of moonlight glow and haze.
This is a fabulous example in oils and is of a professional standard and distinct style.
The lady looks Philipino in origin and J.Luna is an artist from Asia by name.
