Pair of oak open armchairs by Alan ‘Acornman’ Grainger of Bransby in Yorkshire c.1960. Elegant design with beautifully shaped arms and very slim back slats over a loose leather seat pad. Shaped detail above the back legs and Grainger’s trademark carved Acorn ‘critter’ to the front right leg of each chair. Excellent colour and condition.
