Pair Of 19th Century Mahogany Pedestal Cupboards


A very attractive pair of 19th century mahogany pedestal cupboards, both complete with working lock and key. Possibly Irish.
Each pedestal has a square top with a lobed fore and a panelled door flanked with finely turned columns, all raised upon a shaped plinth. Each pedestal has a working lock and key to its left side (note one lock is a little stiff but does work as it should). Both pedestals open to reveal a shelved interior.
Each pedestal has a small amount of wear commensurate with age (to include some minor losses - please see photographs) but remain extremely attractive, being of stunning colour and form.
