A very attractive pair of Lyre Back French Gilt Chairs which have recently been upholstered in a French Linen fabric depicting a motif in burgundy and cream.
The original design of this period is from the Greek Classical period and the design was used to depict opulent living. The chairs are a most interesting decorative statement and would look superb in a hallway or bedroom. The chairs have previously been situated in a French Chateau.
