Description: Pair of antique oil paintings on canvas with contemporary frames in gilded and carved wood belonging to the late 18th century.

The scenes depict young shepherds sitting in bucolic settings, where the boys are seen dressed in refined but pastoral-style clothes.

Next to them there are baskets and some sheep to reinforce the rustic character of the scene while in the background you can see a rural landscape with trees and rural buildings in the distance.

The light seems to come from the left with a soft and diffused lighting that creates an intimate and serene atmosphere.

The colors are warm and earthy tones with a predominance of browns, greens and pastel blues.

The composition is balanced and symmetrical with the two central characters placed in a dominant position and the environmental details that harmoniously frame the scene.
