Fine pair of mid 19th.c. naive Welsh landscapes on glass c.1860. Painting on glass employs a remarkable reverse process whereby forground detail is added first before the colour blocks and background. In excellent untouched condition, presented in their original bird’s eye maple frames. A great example of tradition folk art.
