Verge movement
MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock, blued screws and Boseley type regulator. Signed (Lowry, PARKGATE) and numbered (8164). Four round pillars. Complete and running, with some scratches and scuffs to the gilding on the plates.
DIAL : White enamel dial in excellent condition, with just some light surface scratches. Blued steel hands.
INNER CASE : Silver hallmarks for Birmingham, 1835, maker's mark JW. In good condition with just a few light bruises to the back. The left hand 2 sleeves of the hinge are missing, but the bezel closes well. The crystal is fine.
OUTER CASE : Silver pair case with matching hallmarks to the inner.
There are two small dents to the band, near the catch, but otherwise fine. The catch is fine and the bezel snaps shut correctly. Free worldwide postage.
