R. Esdaile Richardson signed watercolour mill

A charming watercolour of a watermill set in the English countryside by listed Victorian artist R. Esdaile Richardson, signed and dated 1901 bottom right.
It has been taken out of its gilt frame which was badly damaged see one of the photographs. It will be sent in its original mount which, though in poor condition, will provide some protection. The paper is stuck to its original board. This is one of a pair of watermills, the other being listed separately for a slightly lower price. Ideally, it would be nice if the pair could be kept together
Biography:
R. Esdaile Richardson flourished in the late 19th / early 20th Centuries. He is better known for his charming studies of boats and seascapes. The Royal Collection Trust possess his study of 'HMS Victory by moonlight', and his work is sought after by private and public collectors. His work comes up at auction every now and again where it can command high prices, one of his watercolours having made about £5000.
