Rare American Baltimore Federal Writing Table
A rare freestanding early 19th.Century American Baltimore Federal painted writing table. The rectangular shaped top having an inset tooled green leather writing surface within a faux inlaid border. The table has a wide single drawer with brass pulls and gilt floral decoration. The shaped and pierced ends having further painted and gilded decoration with applied gilt patrae, outswept legs and turned cross stretcher. An unusual and decorative writing table from America in good original condition with just a few minor signs of wear. Dimensions:- Height…29.5’’/ 75cm. Width…28.75’’/ 73cm. Depth…22.5’’/ 57cm.
