RARE neat size George 1 walnut bureau bookcase

VERY RARE George I small scale, only 2 foot 4" wide burr walnut bureau bookcase. Original neat size, it has NOT been reduced in size.
The bureau section has an unusual configuration with a full width pull out slide for holding the bureau flap rather than the usual lopers. Two over three drawers beneath. The drawers veneered in wonderful tight burr walnut with feather banding, oak lined with original small iron locks and correct replacement brass handles in the original holes. Original bracket feet
The bureau interior with drawers and pigeon holes, the flap with original hinges and lock.
The top section with mirror door, burr walnut veneered frame and cornice, the door with single candle slide beneath. The top section is veneered on oak and has all the original oak backboards except for one old replaced pine one at the base. The interior has one fixed shelf with drawers and pigeon holes beneath and one adjustable shelf, originally there would probably have been two but one is missing.
The piece has had some restoration mainly to the top bookcase section. Full details of which can be provided on request.
Basically this is a very nice piece of early Georgian walnut of an incredibly neat size. A similar example is currently for sale by a well known London trader at a price of over 100,000.
SIZES 28" wide by 19 1/2" from front to back (bureau) by 84" high overall
