Very high grade Rolex pocket watch housed in a fully hall marked solid 9ct gold full hunter case with a sponsors mark of 'B.B' within an oval background - probably Benson Brothers. It measures 50mm in diameter approx.

Condition:

Dial - double sunk white enamel with bold black Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands and sub. seconds dial. In excellent condition having no hairlines, chips or discolouration. The glass is also in excellent condition.

Case - solid 9ct gold full hunter made by Benson Brothers (probably and fully hall marked for Chester, 1927. The front cover opens when the crown is depressed but sticks a little and requires thumbnail assistance. There are some shallow dings to the covers and band. The dust cover (also solid gold) does not bear any personal inscriptions and is in very good condition. The hinges are good and the covers close tightly.

Movement - stem wind and set Rolex Extra Prima with 17 rubies, timed to 6 positions and temperature, micro regulator and split bi-metallic compensated balance etc. In excellent condition and working order.
