A set of 4 good Regency period dining chairs in mahogany with upholstered drop in seats. The chairs are all in good order, the mahogany is a lovely rich colour. The legs are tapered at the front and slightly arched outwards at the bottom of the back legs for stability. The legs are united by a straight stretcher, again for additional strength and stability. The backs have a slated central design with an inlaid Center to the cresting rail. The seat pads have been recovered in a good quality printed velvet. The set sits well.
