Silver 19thC Open Face Fusee Pocket Watch

This lovely watch combines the skills of three makers and comes together in a working order key-wound pocket watch of great charm and beauty.
The silver case is hallmarked for Chester 1891, by Robert John Pike, while the Crown is by the well-known silversmith Charles Horner, in his days in Hebden Bridge before he became the Halifax jeweller of some riches and fame.
The movement is signed by Joseph Pritchard, Runcorn: the same name that is on the face. The fusee movement is running and the watch is keeping good time, with the regulator being nice and central.
The face is very clean, without cracks or chips and the whole is very tidy indeed. A lovely key-wound watch that comes with its key. You wind by opening the back, and adjust the hands with the same key in the centre boss on the front.
A very good watch which benefits from FREE Delivery. But please do note that any and all further charges including all and any customs duties are the liability of the addressee/purchaser. My shop at 1 Bridge St, Dulverton TA22 9HJ is open
1030 - 5pm Tues-Sat, and by appointment
