Silver WW1 Bengal Lancers Match Sleeve. This remarkable piece of First World War memorabilia is by Percy Edwards and hallmarked for London. The front of the piece has the Lancers regimental coat of arms while the back has ‘XMAS’ engraved. The hallmarks for 1915 can be found on the inside of the piece. The 9th Bengal Lancers would have been serving on the Western Front and Palestine during this period. The piece is in very good condition with only age related signs of wear. A highly collectable piece. Weight 43 grams.
