A Very Small George II period oak cased 'Cottage' longcase clock.c.1750. Brass and silvered engraved dial to the 30 hour movement. Date aperture and gilt spandrels to the corners. Made by Westmorland maker, Massam of Kirkby Lonsdale. Strikes on a bell to the hour. Shaped top to the case door. Moulded cornice and turned columns to the hood. Superb rich colour and very small proportions, stands 73"high. Full working order.
