Sumerian Jemdet Nasr stamp seal with Dogs


A hemispherical stamp seal in pale green calcite, pierced longitudinally for suspension. The base is carved in drill technique to show two stylised dogs on a flat face. Supplied with a modern wax impression.
Circa 3300-2900 BC.
Very Fine condition.
