Superb 19th Century Amboyna Centre Table
Here we have an absolutely SUPERB 19th century French centre table fomely from a famous Edinburgh jewellers. The very best of shapes, veneered throughtout with beautiful tight burred Amboyna. Complete with ALL the original gilded ormulu mounts on all sides and corners and down the legs.
The colour of this table is to die for, it is superb. the top has a faded felt insert which could possibly be original as I believe the table was actually made for the jewellers concerned when it opened in the 19th century. You could replace it with a leather if you wanted.
One of the nicest pieces of Amboyna veneered antique furniture I have seen for quite some time.
