Unusual Early 19th Century Antique Spindle Back Armchair

A very unusual English antique spindle back armchair with different turned spindles to the back rest and arms. Originally from the Shropshire area in the early 19th century, this antique armchair is in superb condition, all totally original and an excellent, original colour. Made in ash woods and with the original strong and clean rushed seat. The armchair legs are turned as is the front stretcher and arm supports along with decorative finial terminals to the back uprights. A beautiful Shropshire country antique armchair that dates to around 1820.

Shipping information

How much is delivery and how long does it take?
We can arrange delivery throughout England, Wales and Scotland. If you would like a delivery quote, please contact us with your postcode and we will get back to you with a price. Delivery is usually within 10 working days.

Standard delivery is with a one man courier and it is a door to door service. If you require a two man courier, please let us know at the time of purchase.

Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Thursdays. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.

We can provide an overseas shipping service.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we can arrange shipping to most countries. Please contact us with your country and area code if you would like a quote.

Terms and conditions

We offer a 14 day return service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return.

In the rare occurance of damage in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of the item.
