Upholstered Walnut-Framed Needlework Stool
This lovely stool dates from around the 1930s, but is older in style. It has a lovely solid wooden base, which we believe to be walnut, with decorative cabriole-style legs and turned stretchers terminating in pad feet. It has an over-upholstered top with a lovely floral needwork design.
Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. It is nice and solid. The top of the stool is a little sunken with age and is a little faded.
