A good quality antique Victorian Aesthetic movement writing table or desk dating from circa 1890. In a well-figured walnut it features and oversailing top with red faux-leather writing surface, above two drawers with original brass drop handles and it stands on elegant turned legs united by turned stretchers. A well-proportioned piece, it is a good size, offering lots of work space but not too large. In original condition, with beautiful patina and colour to the walnut with wear and marks to the top commensurate with age.
