A very attractive Victorian period burr walnut open bookcase. The top edges and panelled fronts of the sides are all highlighted with brass gadrooned mouldings. This bookcase has three original shelves, all with burr walnut veneered fronts, these are all adjustable in height or can be removed as required. This is a good heavy quality bookcase and it is in excellent condition. Sizes: 42”(107cms) wide, 11 ½ “(29cms) deep, 48”(122cms) high. Shelf depth: 8 ¾ (22cms). Date circa 1860. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book.
