An elegant antique Victorian coal scuttle dating from circa 1895. In beautifully figured solid mahogany with fancy brass carry handle to the top. The lid with brass knob, lifts up to reveal storage space for coal, logs etc. and comes with liner. A quality item that would be great next to a fireplace, ideal for storing coal or kindling.

Good colour and original patina. Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Liner present but lacking shovel.
