A handsome antique Victorian mahogany table/ hall table. In mellow well figured mahogany it stands on elegant slender turned legs. It has a central dummy drawer, with turned knob framed by a rectangle of chequered banding. A well-proportioned piece quite wide but also quite shallow, offering lots of work space but not too large. This piece was probably made originally as a serving table or hall table, but makes a wonderful desk.
